Authors Fees
Journal of Strafvordering Indonesian is a fully open access journal, meaning all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) without any subscription or access fees. To support the costs of open access publishing, Ipso Jure charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.
Fee Structure
- Article Submission Fee: None. There are no charges for submitting a manuscript to Journal of Strafvordering Indonesian.
- Article Processing Charge (APC): Rp700,000 (approximately USD 45, subject to exchange rates). This fee covers:
- Editorial and peer review processes.
- Copyediting, typesetting, and formatting for publication.
- Hosting and maintenance of the journal’s online platform.
- Long-term preservation through digital archiving services.
- Assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), if applicable.
Payment Instructions
- The APC is payable only after a manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Authors will receive an invoice with payment details upon acceptance.

- Payments must be made within 10 working days of receiving the invoice to proceed with publication.
Waiver Policy
Journal of Strafvordering Indonesian is committed to supporting global access to research and offers a limited number of fee waivers for authors who are unable to pay the APC due to financial constraints, particularly those from low- or middle-income countries. To request a waiver:
- Submit a formal request to the editorial team during manuscript submission, explaining the financial situation.
- Waiver decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, based on availability of funds and the merit of the manuscript.
- Waivers do not affect the editorial or peer review process, which remains impartial and rigorous.
Transparency
The APC ensures that Journal of Strafvordering Indonesian can maintain its open access model, providing free access to all readers while covering operational costs. No fees are charged to readers or institutions for accessing published content. All articles are published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, allowing reuse with proper attribution.
